The QualiARBT-I is a microprocessor-controlled tester that determines the softening point of bitumen using water or glycerol as the heating fluid. It relies on two precisely positioned light sensors, plus a centrally placed PT100 sensor, to track temperature.
It measures the temperature at which asphalt softens and drops 25mm under controlled heating, with computer-controlled temperature adjustment and real-time data monitoring, storage, and processing.
