Built on the Leeb rebound principle, the QualiTip III sits at the top of our portable rebound-type hardness tester range, giving customers a strong price-to-quality ratio - and it's backed fully by our in-house technical and service team.
It measures hardness across a broad range of metals, on both flat and round surfaces, using an interchangeable impact probe and digital display. There's also extended memory on board (storage for 999 readings), so once you've collected data on-site, you can print it straight from the built-in printer or connect via USB to a PC for further analysis and printing.
As our high-end Leeb's rebound-type tester, the QualiTip III converts readings to HLD, HRC, HRB, HB, HV, and HS, with accuracy of ±0.5%. It's built to the ASTM A956 standard.
