The MTU-3 is a permanently magnetized steel reference disc with coarse and fine cracks induced into its surface, used to check the performance of magnetic particle materials and the lighting conditions you're inspecting under. Run it as part of your daily checks to catch material degradation or bath contamination before it affects a real inspection, and compare results against the included reference photograph. Meets ISO 9934-2, Section B.1.
